In the late spring, summer and early fall, we enjoy the sharks at the World’s best shark dive…Tiger Beach! During that time of the year we take advantage of the 2 extra hours of daylight and flat calm seas to run mostly shorter trips. This time of year is also the perfect time to learn how to make friends with sharks, from Jim Abernethy, who discovered the affectionate side of sharks in 2001. If you choose to do this you will be helping the sharks get their hooks removed by the crew. Since 2001, we have used these trusting shark relationships, built using love and affection to remove the sharks hooks, without having to catch them.
