It is believed that many different species of fish travel alongside large predators, such as this ten foot Tiger shark (Galeocerdo cuvier), as a means of protection from faster predators or for easy access to meal scraps left over by the predator. These four foot Cobia swam in close formation with one particular Tiger shark, from a group of seven others in the near vicinity, for most of the day.
